▶ Is the WPKS the same as mounting a WPS upside down with a hollow bore adaptor?
No. The WPKS is engineered from the ground up as a K+S combination unit. The internal oil channels, bearing preloads, and seal positions are all designed for the simultaneous K+S configuration. Field-modifying a WPS with a hollow bore adaptor does not replicate the WPKS’s engineered performance and would void any warranty.
▶ What sized motor can mount on the WPKS (no D-type flange)?
The WPKS uses a standard solid input shaft (S-type). The motor connects via a shaft coupling to the WPKS input shaft from above. For direct IEC flange motor mounting with hollow bore output, use the WPDKS (D+K+S combination).
▶ How is the torque arm installation performed on the WPKS?
Mount the torque arm to the dedicated boss on the WPKS housing. The opposite end of the arm connects to a fixed structure (typically a frame bracket).
